Zach Edey National Player of the Year favorite

As fans navigate the early excitement of the college basketball season, the anticipation surrounding the coveted Wooden Player of the Year award intensifies. 

Purdue center and reigning National Player of the Year Zach Edey stands as the frontrunner to secure the prestigious honor once again.

Edey’s odds, which were +185 just last week, have now lengthened to +210.

Following closely behind Edey is Duke center Kyle Filipowski. 

Despite Duke falling short against Arizona, Filipowski’s impressive 25-point display led to a notable shift in his odds, decreasing from +900 to +550.

Another noteworthy contender in the race for the honor is Kansas’ Hunter Dickinson, who earned recognition as the Big 12 Player of the Week. He currently holds the third-shortest odds at +750.
