Techpoint Africa and The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL), a civil society organization committed to the creation of technology solutions that promote justice, have partnered for the Techpoint Africa Pitch Friday.
Founded in 2005, HiiL supports entrepreneurs who are building solutions in different sectors that enhance the dispensation of justice. HiiL has supported more than 20 startups in Nigeria since 2021, including SealedApp, AjoBank, and Legalnaija.
Through programs like the Justice Accelerator and Justice Entrepreneurship School (JES), it provides entrepreneurs with mentorship, learning resources, and access to HiiL”s network of experts.
Pitch Friday provides an opportunity for early-stage and idea-stage entrepreneurs to share their products or ideas with an audience, receiving valuable feedback for their businesses.
The partnership is the result of the organisations’ shared vision to identify and support amazing entrepreneurs in Africa and will help to shine a light on innovative solutions while preparing entrepreneurs for the HiiL Justice hackathon to be held later in 2023.
The date for this month’s Pitch Friday is Friday, June 9, 2023, and the time is 3 pm, while the venue is Zone Tech Park, Gbagada.
