The budding artist reached the number-one spot on the Apple Music Top 100 despite his colleague Zinoleesky shading his vocal abilities.
Legit.ng previously reported that Zino, in a viral video, stated that Seyi’s new song would never get to number one on the international streaming platform, even if he consulted a native doctor
Few minutes after Zino’s assertion, Seyi’s single surpassed several songs on the Apple Music Top 100 to sit at the top.

We were promoting our songs on the street
The brothers who caught Zinoleesky’s attention on the streets of Lagos spoke exclusively with Legit.ng‘s Owolawi Taiwo to explain how things happened
Singer Teni locks horns with colleagues, continues to brag about vocal skill: “Your favs sound the same”
One of the brothers, @heisremzel, explained that they had taken to the street to promote their song because they wanted it to trend on TikTok so they went to Maryland Mall in Lagos.
However, they were not allowed to make singing and dancing videos at the mall and they were considering changing their location when Zinoleesky spotted them while in traffic.
Heisremzel said:
“After the video we were about going home, but on our way going home we saw a girl and I had to tell my friend to make a video of me singing my song to the girl. Fortunately there was traffic and we didn’t know Zino was watching me when I was doing the video of my challenge with the girl.”
