Mr Lanre Onasanya, Managing Director of H.C. Bonum Limited, and one of Africa’s leading Executive Coaches, will be sharing insights next Tuesday on “Business: Insights for Achieving Goals in H2 2023” on Technology Times Live.
The Technology Times Live session, an interactive TV session starting 10.00 am Nigeria time on the YouTube Channel of Technology Times, opens a knowledge-sharing platform for entrepreneurs at various stages of their business journey, startups, freelancers, and will be open to attendees across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

Lanre Onasanya is a seasoned performance consultant and business executive with a penchant for bringing out the very best in every person or organisation he encounters. With over three decades of professional experience in strategy, sales and organisational behaviour and multiple board memberships, Lanre is internationally valued for consistently creating innovative solutions backed by design thinking and a wide range of reputable experience across many industries.
Lanre studied and received his Masters in Business Administration from the renowned University of Lagos, where he had similarly received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology prior.
Lanre has over the years accumulated additional education to positively foster his career from institutions such as Microsoft, Six Boxes Performance Thinking Network Program, Best Year Yet Program, and the McGhee Productivity Solutions Consultants Program. He has also been a licensed Insights Discovery Practitioner from 2011 to date.
Lanre played a key role in the small pioneer team that set up Microsoft Nigeria in the year 2000 before he was transferred to the regional headquarters in South Africa. In 2005, he was promoted to an African regional business development role in Microsoft South Africa, with the mandate to kick-start the corporation’s business in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Burundi.
Subsequently, he took on the enlarged role in Microsoft Africa as the Public Sector Business Lead for Eastern and Southern Africa covering 14 African countries and building a strong network for Microsoft across Africa.
Over a period of two years, Lanre served on the Presidential Round Table for Tanzania and Uganda with other key private sector partners to provide strategic input to the Information Technology policy and strategies of both countries.
He started his entrepreneurial journey in 2009 as an independent consultant leading the establishment and growth of the training business in Africa and Middle East for McGhee Productivity Solutions, a global productivity consulting company based in Denver, Colorado, USA.
This culminated in the establishment of Integral Assets Limited as a productivity training company that operated in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria with additional partnerships with Best Year Yet, Inc also based in Colorado and Insights Discovery, Dundee, Scotland.
In 2015, Lanre co-founded H.C. Bonum Limited, a performance consulting company. Since inception, H.C. Bonum has provided training, consulting, and coaching services to leading companies in various sectors of the economy. Today, the company has established relationships with customers in seven African countries, USA, Canada and the UAE.
In addition to being a consultant, business executive and executive coach over the past fifteen years, one of Lanre’s valuable intangible traits is his entrepreneurial prowess.
He currently sits on the board of companies in various industries, such as Software Development, Advertising, IT/Security, Technology and Property Development while being at the helm of affairs at H.C. Bonum Limited.
Lanre leverages his vast experience and education in financial services, human capacity building and Information Technology to serve his client base of several executives and companies across the African continent. He is an enthusiastic lover of African music and a co-executive producer of the Nollywood movie “Lara & the Beat” which is currently highly rated on Netflix.
