Barely a few hours after the tragic news of the death of Murphy Afolabi broke out, details about his burial have surfaced online.

According to blogger, @emiraltyafrica, the actor will be buried in his hometown of Osogbo on May 15, 2023.

According to the report, the decision was made after an agreement was reached by his son, family members and some Nollywood stakeholders who were present.

Until his death, Afolabi was a traditionalist, described as ‘force’ in Osogbo.
