EdTech: Enugu, AltSchool Africa plan talks on empowering marginalised communities

The Enugu State Government, through the Enugu SME Centre and AltSchool Africa School Training Programme is hosting a discussion on the role of educational technology (EdTech) in empowering marginalised communities.

This comes amid the ongoing Enugu SME Centre and AltSchool Africa training programme which is a six months comprehensive hybrid programme offering front-end web development and back-end web development skills.

According to the agency, this initiative aims to equip young people in Enugu with in-demand skills for the competitive job market.

Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser on MSMEs and Digital Economy, and Director-General of Enugu SME Centre will be hosting the session on X Space with the theme “Empowering Marginalized Communities Through EduTech,” on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 at 4.00 pm.

The event will feature a discussion led by Hon. Chilo-Offiah himself, alongside Mr. Akintunde Sultan, Co-Founder of AltSchool Africa, and Mr Jerry Uke, Senior Programme Manager at AltSchool Africa.
