One of the most anticipated days of the college football offseason has arrived as National Signing Day is officially underway.

There are a number of blue-chip prospects expected to announce their college decision and sign on the dotted line Wednesday. That includes five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor, who announced his commitment to South Carolina earlier in the day.

While many of the top recruits throughout the nation signed their national letter of intent during the early signing period, there are still plenty of fireworks expected from the early hours of Wednesday morning until late in the evening on the West Coast.

In the meantime, catch up on December’s signing day with our full tracker, as well as who won big or lost out.

We’ve got you covered with all the biggest news and updates throughout National Signing Day.

Who has signed:

Cormani McClain, CB, Colorado

247Sports Composite Ranking: 13

Why it matters: McClain made it official Wednesday, signing with Colorado after flipping his commitment from Miami to CU following a January visit to Boulder. The five-star cornerback out of Lakeland, Florida is the highest-ranked high school recruit in Deion Sanders’ first class as the Buffaloes’ head coach. McClain is set to team up with former five-star cornerback Travis Hunter, who announced his intention to join Sanders and transfer from Jackson State to Colorado in December.

Nyckoles Harbor, ATH, South Carolina

247Sports Composite Ranking: 19

Why it matters: Harbor was one of the top uncommitted prospects heading into Wednesday, with South Carolina and Oregon believed to be the favorites. In the end, the Gamecocks were able to win out as Harbor announced his commitment to Shane Beamer and South Carolina during at ceremony at Archbishop High School. The 6-foot-5, 225 pound tight end/edge rusher is also a track and field star and one of the top high school sprinters in the nation.

Rodrick Pleasant, CB, Oregon

247Sports Composite Ranking: 91

Why it matters: Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has won another hotly contested recruiting battle for a top defensive prospect in a rival’s backyard. Pleasant, a Southern California native, spurned both UCLA and USC — the two other finalists in his recruitment — with his decision. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Pleasant, considered one of the fastest players in his entire national class, joins fellow four-star cornerbacks Cole Martin and Daylen Austin among a stacked group of 2023 defensive backs in Eugene.

Walker Lyons, TE, USC

247Sports Composite Ranking: 123

Why it matters: A four-star tight end prospect who was previously committed to Stanford, Lyons backed off that pledge in late November and signed with Lincoln Riley and the Trojans on Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound prospect is a four-star recruit and the No. 5 ranked tight end in the nation. Lyons’ pledge gives the Trojans another highly-touted pass-catcher in this 2023 class, joining five-star WRs Zachariah Branch and Makai Lemon.

Shamar Easter, TE, Arkansas

247Sports Composite Ranking: 184

Why it matters: Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks’ coaching staff secured their top remaining target Wednesday as Easter reaffirmed his commitment to Arkansas. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound in-state prospect announced his initial commitment to the Razorbacks back in August but delayed signing his national letter of intent. With Easter now on board, the Razorbacks secure one of the most talented tight end prospects in the class, ranked as the No. 10 TE in the 2023 class and the top player in the state of Arkansas, per 247Sports composite rankings. He has exceptional size, length and athleticism, which should make him a matchup problem for opposing defenses.

Mikal Harrison-Pilot, ATH, Houston

247Sports Composite Ranking: 196

Why it matters: The Cougars kicked off the day with a massive signing as Harrison-Pilot, the No. 7 ranked athlete in the 2023 class, signed his national letter of intent. The 6-foot, 190-pound in-state prospect verbally committed to the Cougars on Jan. 7 at the All-American Bowl and made it official on Wednesday. Harrison-Pilot is the top-ranked prospect in Dana Holgorsen’s 2023 class and is expected to play wide receiver for the Cougars.

Taeshaun Lyons, WR, Washington

247Sports Composite Ranking: 225

Why it matters: Washington’s talented wide receiver room got another big boost Wednesday as Lyons officially signed with the Huskies. The four-star prospect out of Heyward, California is the No. 34 ranked wide receiver recruit in the 2023 class, per 247Sports composite rankings. He committed to Kalen DeBoer and the Huskies back in December and made it official Wednesday. Washington now has seven four-star prospects committed in its 2023 recruiting class.

Who has committed:

Jaden Rashada, QB, Arizona State

247Sports Composite Ranking: 82

Why it matters: The former Florida signee was released from his national letter of intent this past month and announced his commitment to Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils on Wednesday. Rashada is the No. 7 ranked QB prospect in the 2023 class and is now Arizona State’s highest-ranked commitment. TCU was also in the running to for Rashada, but in the end, the four-star QB made the decision to commit to ASU, where his father, Harlen, also played.
