The most recent update to the Twitter app on the Apple App Store states that paying $7.99 for Blue will verify you on the platform “exactly like the celebrities, businesses, and politicians you already follow.”

However, it doesn’t appear possible that the new Twitter Blue subscription update is presently accessible.

The new notifications screen, which by default shows tweets from Verified users on the first tab, is already live in the upgraded app. This helps to push the idea that purchasing the new plan is the best way to ensure that people actually see your tweets.

When users sign up for Blue, the app displays a “Blue looks nice on you, enjoy your verified checkmark” pop-up, but there is no actual opt-in for showing a “verified” label on your profile.

Although the exact date for the launch of Twitter Blue’s verification feature (or its availability on Android) is still unknown, it appears to be arriving shortly. Musk first gave the Blue engineers till Monday, November 7th, to finish these modifications or risk being fired.
